It's the sort of lens that turns up for pennies and surprises you. But I've got an old DSB 35-105 / 3.8 4.8 zoom that is a bit big, heavy and slow, but actually rather good. Well I'm not sure what Attila meant about "C".but my ML 135mm f2.8 is just another good 135mm and nothing special that encourages me to use it more on a film camera. Is there anything interesting from yashica in let's say the 70-100mm range as well?Ģ4mm sounds good to me. I'm very interested though in a nice wide angle. I'm not too interested in this focal range though: I'm currently using my m4/3 zuiko 45/1.8 which is such a stellar performer that I really couldn't wish for anything else with thin this focal range. I haven't used any of these yet.Ĭaspert79 wrote: Sure the 50mm's are fine lenses. I currently have four other Yashica 50mm lenses in M42 mount: Yashinon-DS f2, Yashinon-DS f1.9, and two Yashinon-DX f/1.7. Very cool lens!!! I acquired it for resale- far too pricey for me to keep so I sold it for a small profit- I'm trying to pay off debts not make them bigger! I like this lens for its corner to corner sharpness, and for its rendering which has equally soft foreground and background OOF, and just a tiny glint of bright lining on highlights.
